High Legh Primary School is a small award winning county primary in Cheshire. It has 132 pupils presently and its current (2008) Head Misteress is Mrs. Walsh.
HistoryThe school was founded by The Earl of Egerton in the 1800's and was then situated in the village hall it was moved to it's current premises in 1972. HallsIn 2005 the former headmaster decided to split the school into four halls Tatton, Arley, Dunham and Leigh. There has always been intense rivalry between the halls.Sports dayA sports day is held every-year with a overall cup for the winning hall, The Jenna Bond Award for the person who has tried hardest and the Sefton cup for the year six boy and girl who wins a pointless race round the school field.
High Legh FunHigh Legh Fun is the school's parent run after school club which runs Monday through Thursday Help would be welcome to get the club running again on a Friday.
