Monein ,19 January 1961 ) is a former French rugby union footballer and coach. His position was scrum-half. His team wasUS Dax , were he won theChallenge Yves du Manoir , in 1982.One of the best players of his generation, known by his amazing kick, he had to face several injuries, which prevented him from playing in the first
Rugby World Cup finals, in 1987.Lescarboura won 28 caps for France, from 1982 to 1990, scoring 5 tries and reaching an aggregate of 196 points. He played four times at the
Five Nations , in 1982, 1984, 1985 and 1988, being a member of the winning team the last time, ex-aequo with Wales. In 1985, he scored a record of 3 drop goals against England. He also scored 2 tries with New Zealand, in 1984.He latter went to coach US Dax.
