Yves A. Lussier, M.D., P.E., is a
University of Chicago Scientist and Director of Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBI) at Department of Medicine of University of Chicago after serving as a faculty member and investigator atColumbia University Center for Computational Bioliology and Bioinformatics (C2B2) and Columbia Joint Center for Systems Biology. Dr. Lussier works in both clinical medicine and engineering practice. He was appointed as the General Chair of the 2009 American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Summit on Translational Bioinformatics and has made significant contribution to the emerging field of translational bioinformatics andpersonalized medicine . Dr. Lussier is a Fellow of American College of Medical Informatics and a scientific leader of American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). He published many research papers at leading journals such asPLoS Computational Biology ,BMC Genomics,BMC Bioinformatics , Bioinformatics (Oxford University Press) inmedical informatics andpersonalized medicine .References
