Yves A. Lussier

Yves A. Lussier, M.D., P.E., is a University of Chicago Scientist and Director of Center for Biomedical Informatics (CBI) at Department of Medicine of University of Chicago after serving as a faculty member and investigator at Columbia University Center for Computational Bioliology and Bioinformatics (C2B2) and Columbia Joint Center for Systems Biology. Dr. Lussier works in both clinical medicine and engineering practice. He was appointed as the General Chair of the 2009 American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Summit on Translational Bioinformatics and has made significant contribution to the emerging field of translational bioinformatics and personalized medicine. Dr. Lussier is a Fellow of American College of Medical Informatics and a scientific leader of American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA). He published many research papers at leading journals such as PLoS Computational Biology, BMC Genomics, BMC Bioinformatics, Bioinformatics (Oxford University Press) in medical informatics and personalized medicine.
