James Luxford

James Luxford is a Film Critic from North London. He began his career in 2006 with his own website, [http://www.fudfilm.com Fudfilm] . The site was amateur film review site created with the web tool Moonfruit. In 2007 he began writing for the website [http://www.entertainmentwise.com EntertainmentWise] , where he has become a senior film reviewer and conducts regular interviews. His print career includes Film Editor roles at "Close Up" magazine, MPC Publications, The Stool Pidgeon and The Archer.

Entertainmentwise, 2007-present

Luxford first started writing for Entertainmentwise in January 2007. Initially a reviewer, he went on to regularly write for the movie news section, as well as reporting from press conferences and conducting interviews. He stopped writing news for the site in August 07, however in that short time had over 250 news stories published, many of which are still available by searching on the site. MPC Publications Feb 2007-July 2008

Luxford joined MPC's title The Barnet Local in February 2007, writing the movie column "Cinema Paradiso". From August 2007, he also wrote a music column called "PodBlast", highlighting local talent as well as mainstream reviews.The articles proved very popular with the local magazine's readership, and was syndicated by all MPC Publications...Due to limitations in budget on the part of MPC, he finished writing for them in July 2008.
