Kalipahari is the village in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. It is situated at 5 Km south of Bagar town. This village is known for educated and peaceful people. Shekhawats (Bhojrajika clan) are major part of the population. Almost 25% of young generation of this village is serving nation by working in Army and other para-military forces like BSF, CISF, CRPF and state police.There are three major part of the village, main Kalipahari village, Kalipahari ka Bas, Kalipahari ki Dhani. Main Kalipahari village is dominated by Shekhawats,late Major Udai Singhji was the first officer in the village.He was well known in the community.His grandson Lt. Col Bhupendra Singh is serving the armed forces. Well known educationists Virendra Singh, Ummed Singh, Mukund Singh, Raghunath Singh, Vikram Singh, Dr Santosh Singh, Prabhu Singh, Dr Ravindra Singh, Scientists Dr. Gajendra Singh, Dr Rakesh Shekhawat, Dr Rajendra Singh Doctors Dr (Col.) Kishore Singh, Dr Rajendra Singh, and social workers Jivraj Singh and Rajendra Singh belongs to this part of the village. This part of the village boasts of architectural marvels - Havelis & Mansions built over time by the residents.The most striking example is the haveli constructed by Late Thakur Major Udai Singhji.Residents are known for their modern approach in terms of education & health.Kalipahari ka Bas is having mix society like Jats, Vishwakarmas, Malis and Scheduled cast people.Banwarilal, Sagar Vishwakarma's and Hanuman ji Sharma's families are the most known in the Bas. Kalipahari ki Dhani constituted with majority of SC society. Kala family is known for their education and progress. Educationist Vidyadhar Kala belongs to this part of the village.The village is surronded by fields ,towards one end it has a beautiful sanddune & a black breccia hill.This region exemplifies the Rajput traditions & culture.It is also very scenic & picturesque.
