EOSHMS SDN BHD focuses primarily on developing web-based occupational safety and health management solutions (eOSHMS) that can be marketed out at a very low, affordable and competitive price.

*The History - The [http://www.dosh.gov.my/Informasi/Akta/AktaKeselamatan.pdf Malaysian Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 94)] was implemented in 1994 to address the escalating number of workplace accidents that contributed towards the huge loss of skilled human resource and indirect financial loss to Malaysia. However, fatal accidents at workplaces continue to remain high.

*The Problem - Since OSHA 94's introduction, many local articles revealed that occupational safety and health (OSH) compliance, here in Malaysia, in both our local public and private sectors were rather unsatisfactory due to the negligence and lackadaisical attitudes towards OSH matters at workplace.

*The Cause - Many companies especially from the Small Medium Enterprises (SME's) view OSH management as a burden; which imposes extra time and cost to manage. Unfortunately, these companies failed to evaluate the potential and hidden problems and setbacks that may arise when proper OSH management are absent; in which may be even more detrimental to the company and its employees.

*The Solution - We at EOSHMS SDN BHD are particularly aware of this situation and we realize that there is a need to come up with a solution to solve this problem faced particularly by the SME's. Our product eOSHMS is designed and developed to eliminate the problems and setbacks that will arise by making it AFFORDABLE, RELIABLE and EASY-to-USE. Our concept to include the usage of computers and technology is our first innovative step that will revolutionize this OSH field. Having all the OSHMS elements on one platform will increase systematic efficiency and effectiveness of every process; let it be documentation, communication, record keeping or even compliance tracking. Our product features will definitely improve current OSH planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing processes; making self regulated OSH manageable for all.

*EOSHMS Sdn Bhd was invited by [http://www.microsoft.com/malaysia/citizenship/mic/ Microsoft Innovation Centre] to participate in the upcoming [http://www.wcit2008.org/ 16th World Congress on Information Technology 2008 (WCIT 2008)] which was held onthe 21st May 2008 at KL Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We showcased our eOSHMS. We was located at the Microsoft booth.

*eOSHMS was introduce in the 4th MOSHPA / PERKESO OSH National Conference 2007 / 2008.

*eOSHMS was at the [http://www.aposho.org/new/index.jsp 24th Asia Pacific Occupational Safety and Health Organization Annual Conference 2008 (APOSHO 24)] held on June 29 - July 2, 2008 at COEX Convention Centre, Seoul, South Korea.
