Joseph Francis Maguire (born September 4 1919) is an American Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church.

Joseph Francis Maguire was born in Boston, Massachusetts, ordained a priest on June 29 1945 in Boston, Massachusetts. Appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Boston as well as Titular Bishop of Mactaris on December 1 1972 and ordained bishop on February 2 1972. Maguire was appointed Coadjutor bishop of Diocese of Springfield Massachusetts in April of 1976 and succeeded Christopher Joseph Weldon as bishop on October 15 1977. He Remained Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield until his retirement which took place on December 27 1991.
