Wilhelm Bernhardt Molique

Wilhelm Bernhardt Molique (October 7, 1802 - May 10, 1869) was a German violinist and composer.

He was born at Nuremberg.

He learnt the violin at Munich under Pietro Rovelli. In 1826 he became music-director at Stuttgart. As a composer for the violin Molique was commonly compared with Spohr. He also wrote some charming songs. He died at Cannstatt in 1869.
