FC Basel in 1952. In 1953, he signed forGrasshopper-Club Zürich but returned to FC Basel after just one season. Then, in 1958, he signed forFC Zürich and retired in 1965.He earned three caps for the Swiss national team, making his international debut in a 5-1 defeat to Yugoslavia on
