Biography

Panophonic is a solo project by the extraordinarily prolific Tommy Lugo, front man and brainchild behind Stellarscope, has for the last few years been pumping out lo-fi electro dreampop releases at an exceptional rate.

Despite the high work-rate, he shows no signs of a flagging talent. He blends electronics, drones, and atmospherics to create a distinct and identifiable sound that all shoegaze fans will appreciate while appealing to a broader audience as well.

The mood to his music is tragic, cathartic, and hypnotic; striking a fine balance between the atmosphere of dreampop and raw emotion. His songs are a masterful blend of experimentation and strong melodies that craft a more personal and adventurous recorded sound.

He has appeared on several worldwide compilations including Jesusland (a tribute to the Jesus and Mary Chain), Blue Skied, Clear (a tribute to Slowdive), and many more. His music has also been featured on MTV, Sci Fi Channel, A&E, and Discovery Channel.
