History

Since becoming incorporated in August 1999, Posera has brought the latest developments in advanced technology to a growing number of clients and partners. Its first big contract named it as the official solution provider for Sharp POS. One year later, in 2000, the company announced strategic partnerships with Sharp Corporation, IBM, NCR Corporation, Epson, and Panasonic. This same year also saw the release of the Maitre’D Millennium Edition. The next version of Maitre’D—the 2002 edition with wireless handheld POS capability and the Maitre’D e-Global Enterprise solution—also arrived at the end of 2001.
