John Matthew Wilson Young, born 17 December 1822 in Durham and died 4 March, 1897, was an English Organist.
Life
He married Augusta Frushard, daughter of Philip Frushard and Anna Maria on 8 July 1851 at St. Paul's Church, Deptford, Kent.

*Edward Muir Young b. ca. 1857
*Ricard S Young b ca. 1866
He was buried in the cemetery at East Gate in Lincoln.
Career
He was a chorister at Durham Cathedral.
He held posts of:
*Assistant Organist at Durham Cathedral
