Shank (play)

Shank (play)

Shank was written by renowned writer Richard Vincent, for Croydon Youth Theatre Organisation in 2008. CYTO took Shank to the annual Big Youth Theatre Festival where the cast performed the Play twice, which was unknown in the history of BYTF.

Shank is set on a tram in Croydon. A schoolboy is stabbed to death. Did anyone see anything? Will anyone speak up? The play deals with the struggle that youths face nowadays with the threat of knifecrime.
