A message from the principal

Events of great consequences often spring from trifling circumstances. "-Livy As the 2007-2008 session edges past and the 2008-2009 session dawns in, we look back in retrospect to examine our achievements. The hard-working teachers leave no stone unturned in guiding the students to excel in all their endeavours. Teachers and students are the pillars on which a school stands. The students of the branch have achieved many a laurels. Their work speaks for itself. All the students of ISC and ICSE sections passed the examination in flying colours securing good marks. Most of the students secured above ninety percent marks. Utkarsh Rastogi and Devanshu Dwivedi were selected for the N.T.S.E. scholarship. The branch won two first prizes in MACFAIR 2004. The Montessori methods of teaching and new innovative ideas were adopted to teach the tiny-tots. Model-class presentations saw the children exuding with confidence. To still increase the confidence of the students Aprmeya Pandey, Monika Verma and Priyanka Bhatia attended the 8 th PMWC Maths Olympiad held in Konk Kong. With globalization, the world coming closer, the competition to be faced by our students has increased many times. Thus to provide our students with a platform to test their caliber and hone their competitive skills, CMS RDSO organize IEMIC (India Elementary Mathematics World Contest). Not only did the event boost the competitive spirit exposing the students to the world scenario but the event succeeded in bringing eleven countries under one roof uniting them in a friendly bond despite lingual and cultural differences. The grand success of the 3 rd EXSPO-2004 An International Sports Meet for World Peace was a commendable feature. Forty-four teams from India and abroad participated in the mega event. Amid much fanfare, exuberance and festive ambience, the meet was declared open Hon'ble Mr. Francis Fanthome, Chief Executive and Secretary, Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi . The meet was also graced by the presence of eminent luminaries like R.K. Chaudhary, Vikram Kaul, Ashok Kumar, P.Gopichand, Bahadur Prasad, Jhamman Lal Sharma, Shakti Singh, Sunita Rani, RP Singh, Abhinna Sham Gupta, V.S. Chauhan, Bharat Thakur, Syed Rafat, Sahaj Grover, Nirmal Singh Saini, Vishnu Sahai, Jai Singh and Harish Mehta. Next year we plan to hold the EXSPO with even more zest and energy as sports are a great contributing factor in World Unity. They also inculcate virtues like team spirit, self sacrifice, bravery, courage and grit. These virtues lead to sound character formation, a prerequisite for a great personality and a great human being. In the end, I take this opportunity to thank our founders, Mr. and Mrs. Gandhi and the Associate Inspectress, Mrs. Aruna Verma for their guidance and support. I also thank my industrious teachers, the menial staff and parents for their valuable contribution. I also thank my children who are so firm in all the things they do which makes us feel happy and proud.
