The Shadan College of Engineering and Technology (SCET) is a technical institute located in Peerancheru, Himayath Sagar Road, Hyderabad. The college was established in 1995 by Shadan Educational Society (A minority institution). It is permitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, approved by A.I.C.T.E. and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. SCET is considered as second best Minority Institute in Hyderabad after MJ College of Engineering (affiliated to Osmania University) and Best Minority Institute of Hyderabad under JNTU Hyderabad. Co-Curricular Activities Shadan College of Engineering and Technology has an active IEEE Student Branch with more than 50 student members enrolled under IEEE. The Student Branch organizes a National Level IEEE Students' Technical Symposium every year in the eve of Annual Meet of the IEEE Student Branch. The Event will be hosted by the current IEEE SCET Committee and IEEE Student Members with the support of IEEE Hyderabad Section, college management and faculty.

The student members of IEEE SCET have published their research papers in reputed Journals and Proceedings of various National / International Conferences and Technical Symposiums.
