The Family is an eight-part fly on the wall documentary first shown on Channel 4 on 17 September 2008. It follows the Hughes Family, consisting of father, Simon and wife, Jane and their children Emily, Jessica, Charlotte and Tom for 100 days and nights within their own home in Canterbury. The project aims to gain a picture of everyday family life in the United Kingdom.
It currently airs every Wednesday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
