organist and music pedagogue. He taught at theUniversity of Michigan for over 40 years and was an internationally respected performer.Glasgow studied at the
Eastman School of Music , taking both his bachelor's and his master's degrees there. He taught atMacMurray College for eleven years, then became a faculty member at theUniversity of Michigan-Ann Arbor in 1962, remaining there until his retirement in 2005. He recorded titles forPrestant Records , including an album of pieces byCesar Franck , and was named International Performer of the Year in 1997 by theAmerican Guild of Organists .
