- Bunda District
Bunda is one of the five districts of
Mara Region in the United Republic of Tanzania,East Africa . It is bordered to the North by the Musoma Rural District, to the South byLake Victoria and theMwanza Region , to the East by theSerengeti District , and to the West byLake Victoria .The district has four divisions, namely: Kenkombyo, Nansimo, Serengeti and Chamuriho.
Bunda Town, a small town 70 km south of
Musoma and west of theSerengeti National Park serves as the district's capital.According to the 2002 Tanzania National Census, the population of Bunda District was 260,000. [http://www.tanzania.go.tz/census/census/districts/bunda.htm]
