The flicker has become a relatively informal dance motion used most frequently by college-aged students during most techno and house music. Also known as "The Oser"fact|date=September 2008, it brings a very simplified movement to over eccentric and enthusiastic club-kids. Technique: With the arm fully extended out at about a 45 degree angle from the torso - using only the wrist to move the straight hand back and forth as if to be fanning the air.
