Czerwony Sztandar (Lwów newspaper)

Czerwony Sztandar ( _en. Red Banner) was a Polish language daily, published by the occupational Soviet authorities in the city of Lwów, between October 5, 1939 and June of 1941. Its circulation was 40 000 copies daily and the publication contained typical Soviet propaganda, filled with hatred towards Second Polish Republic and its authorities. Among writers, who published there, were Wanda Wasilewska, Julian Stryjkowski, Stanisław Jerzy Lec and Leon Chwistek.
