José de Almeida Batista Pereira, (born July 26, 1917) is a Brazilian bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. At the age of age|1917|7|26 is one of the oldest bishop in the Church and one of the oldest Brazilian bishop.

Pereira was born in São Gonçalo, Brazil and was ordained a priest on December 22, 1940. He was appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Niteroi, along with Titular Bishop of Baris in Pisidia, on December 22, 1953 and ordained titular bishop of Baris in Pisidia on February 2, 1954. In 1955, Pereira was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Sete Lagoas where he remained until 1964. On April 7 1964, Pereira was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Guaxupé where he remained until his resignation from the diocese January 16, 1976.
