Kemeri 1937 chess tournament

The event was held in a resort town Kemeri (Jūrmala) at the Gulf of Riga (Latvia) from 16 June to 8 July 1937. [http://www.zone.ee/pkeres/partiid.php?id=1937] There were three co-winners: Samuel Reshevsky, Salo Flohr and Vladimirs Petrovs. Latvian master was one of the world's leading chessplayers at the end of Thirties of the last century (i.e. the 8th Chess Olympiad at Buenos Aires 1939), [http://www.olimpbase.org/1939/1939in.html] but due to the political tragedies that befell the Baltic States in World War II, he became a victim of the Soviet oppression and perished in Kotlas (Russia) gulag in 1943.
