Sergey Mironov (also spelled Sergei) ( _ru. Сергей Миронов) (born May 29, 1988 in Veliky Novgorod) is a Russian international football forward who currently plays for bulgarian OFC Sliven 2000. He is a strong defensive midfielder who can also play as an attacking midfielder. He is best known for his close control, vision, tackling and speed.

Club career

Mironov started playing football at the age of seven in his city of birth Veliky Novgorod. He was raised in Zenit Saint Petersburg's youth teams, and started playing for Zenit Reserves in 2005. In 2008 he gone in Finland and signed a loan contract with local team TP-47. Six months later reject contract with TP-47 and signed with bulgarian OFC Sliven 2000.

International career

In 2005 and 2007 Mironov is a captain of Russia national under-19 football team.
