East Catholic High School is a college preparatory high school in Manchester, Connecticut. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hartford. The parochial school was founded in 1961. For the 2007-2008 school year, East has just under 800 students in grades 9–12, with 47 teachers.

Awards and recognition

Athletics

East Catholic High School has won 32 state championships since 1965, with baseball titles coming in 1996 and 1997.Fact|date=February 2007 Andy Baylock, the retired head coach of the University of Connecticut baseball team, was the head football coach for this high school 1962–1964. In 1998 he was inducted into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame. Rob Penders, the head baseball coach for St. Edward’s University, was a two-time all-state shortstop at East Catholic.

Athletic Director and Varsity Soccer Coach, Tom Malin led the Boy's Soccer team to his 300th career win against Middletown on October 17, 2007. [Staff.
