Wood was born, and raised, in Holland. She began mainstream modeling when she was in high school, but the pressure to remain thin eventually put her off. She started modeling nude after graduating from college, and in 2002 she became the grand prize winner of Hustler magazine's Beaver Hunt contest. This then led to adult film work.^[2] She only worked in the adult film industry for 3 months before moving on to other pursuits. She now lives in New Orleans with her husband.
