Aksel (Axel) Einar (Ejnar) Utzon-Frank (30 March 1888 – 15 July 1955) was a sculptor from Denmark.

He was born in Frederiksberg in 1888,cite web|url=http://www.kulturarv.dk/kid/VisKunstner.do?kunstnerId=1022|work=Kunstindeks Danmark & Weilbachs Kunstnerleksikon|title=Artist: Einar Utzon-Frank|author=Kulturarvsstyrelsen|accessdate=2008-09-08] , the son of Jens Christian Frank and Anna Cathrine Utzon.cite web|url=http://www.kulturarv.dk/kid/VisWeilbachRefresh.do?kunstnerId=1022&wsektion=genealogi|title=Einar Utzon-Frank - Genealogy|author=Anette Sørensen|work=Kunstindeks Danmark & Weilbachs kunstnerleksikon|accessdate=2008-09-14] He began his artistic life as a painter, but changed direction to become a sculptor.cite web|url=http://www.gravsted.dk/person.php?navn=einarutzon-frank|title=Einar Utzon-Frank|work=gravsted.dk|accessdate=2008-09-08]

However, the two friends followed diverging paths through their creative careers, with Nielsen following a lush modernism in contrast to Utzon-Frank's clear cool classical style which follows the tradition of Bertel Thorvaldsen.cite web|url=http://www.kulturarv.dk/kid/VisWeilbachRefresh.do?kunstnerId=1022&wsektion=biografi|title=Einar Utzon-Frank - Biography|author=Anette Sørensen|work=Kunstindeks Danmark & Weilbachs kunstnerleksikon|accessdate=2008-09-14]

Einar Utzen-Frank travelled abroad in 1912-13, visiting Berlin, Dresden, Munich, Florence, Rome, Naples, Paestum, Paris and later Italy, Greece and England, cite web|url=http://www.kulturarv.dk/kid/VisWeilbachRefresh.do?kunstnerId=1022&wsektion=rejser|title=Einar Utzon-Frank - Travel|author=Anette Sørensen|work=Kunstindeks Danmark & Weilbachs kunstnerleksikon|accessdate=2008-09-14] and many of the classical influences from his travels are evident in his work.

In 1918 at the age of 30 he was appointed a professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, a post in which he remained until 1955. In his teaching, he laid emphasis on solid craftsmanship skills. He was a teacher and educator of great importance and came to dominate several generations of sculptors, including Henry Heerup, Sigrid Lütken, Janus Kamban, Anne Marie Carl-Nielsen, Gestur Þorgrímssoncite web|url=http://www.hafnarborg.is/Egestur.htm|title=Gestur Þorgrímsson - “Tvíund”|work=Exhibitions Hafnarborg|year=2007|accessdate=2008-09-16] and Douglas Bisset.cite web|url=http://www.glasgowsculpture.com/pg_biography.php?sub=bisset_d|title=Douglas Bisset (1908-2000)|work=Glasgow - City of Sculpture|author=Gary Nisbet|accessdate=2008-09-16]
