Sidney Campbell

Sidney Campbell, born in 1909 and died on 4 June 1974, was an English Organist.

In 1931 he was awarded his FRCO and was organist of St. Peter's Church, Wolverhampton from 1943 to 1947. He was organist of Ely Cathedral from 1949 to 1953, Southwark Cathedral from 1953 to 1956 and Canterbury Cathedral from 1956 to 1961.

In 1961 he was appointed organist at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, a position he held until his death in 1974. [The Times, 6 June 1974. ]
