- Leontopodium microphyllum
"Leontopodium microphyllum", belonging to sunflower family (Asteraceae) and relative to the European Edelweiss ("Leontopodium alpinum"), is endemic to Taiwan. It is called Taiwan Edelweiss, or small leaf Edelweiss. It grows at mountain area with altitude 3200-3950 meter. It was first published by Japanese botanist Bunzo Hayata in 1908.
