Aleksandras Štromas was born in
Kaunas ,Lithuania . During Nazi occupation of Lithuania was imprisoned into Ghetto. After he was saved from Ghetto Štromas was harbored byAntanas Sniečkus . Studied inVilnius University , later finishedMoscow University . On 1964 defended his thesis in law. Soon afterward Aleksandras Štromas became a critic of Soviet regime and had to emigrate. On 1973 he settled inUnited Kingdom . There he became professor ofBradford University , later worked in Saltford University. From 1989 year he delivered lectures inUSA . Aleksandras Štromas died on13 June 1999 in US.References
