The Latency is a Canadian Pop Punk band from Maple Ridge, BC originally formed by Brandon Lehti, Mathew Gendron and Ryan Stead. The Latency were the opening act for Hedley's Western Canadian tour.

On July 1st, 2008 The Latency released their long awaited debut EP CHOMP!!. The 6 song EP was produced by Hedley bassist Tommy Mac.
