India n film-maker.He is considered to be the first to produce a movie in Southern India. The government of
Andhra Pradesh instituted an award in his name to be given life time achievers in "Tollywood" or Telugu Cinema.He produced the first southern Indian movie in 1909 and was in business until 1929.
