The Ljubljana-Matica Mountaineering Club or Ljubljana-Matica Climbing Club (Slovene: Planinsko društvo Ljubljana-Matica, shortly PD Ljubljana-Matica or just Matica), with its office located in Ljubljana, is the oldest and by the number of members the largest mountaineering club in Slovenia and a member of the Mountaineering Association of Slovenia. It was established in 1893 as the Central Club of the then Slovenian Mountaineering Society and adapted its current name in 1948. In 2007, the club had over 3000 members, among them the deceased climber Pavle Kozjek.
The club operates the following mountain shelters: The Triglav Hut on Kredarica, The Hut by the Triglav Lakes, The Hut by Savica, The Hut in Kamniška Bistrica, The Hut in Komna and The Bivouac below Skuta on Mali Podi. Its sections are involved in climbing, mountain guiding and mountain rescue, operating paths, educating youth, publishing and protecting the mountain environment. The current president of the club is Tomaž Willenpart.
