Çağlar Birinci (born 2 October, 1985 in Trabzon, Turkey) is a professional Turkish footballer currently playing for Denizlispor as a left back.

Club career

After an impressive season with Denizlispor in the 2006-07 season, he secured a first-team place as a left-back. In the 2007-08 season, he was given the number 30 squad number, and became vice-captain.

International career

Upon being impressed by his league performances, Fatih Terim decided to select Çağlar for Turkey's Fifa World Cup 2010 qualification games against Armenia and Belgium. Çağlar made his debut against Belgium, starting as left-back.
