Emily Lipari (November 19, 1992) is an American middle and long-distance runner. Born and raised in Greenvale, New York, Emily is primarily a long-distance runner who runs a number of different races spanning from 1500 meters to 5,000 meters. She has rewritten much of the Roslyn High School and Nassau County track record books.

Roslyn High School (2005–2010)

Emily began her High School career as an eight-grader, in winter track, under the tutelage of Coach Vera Trenchfield, Coach Kevin Kearney and her brother, Thomas Lipari, who is also a long-distance runner for Division I Marist College. She showed unmeasurable upside in her first season in many events, and she won her first All-County award, even though she hadn't tapped into her talent yet. Still as an eight-grader she made the State Meet in the 3000 m. Entering her first season as an actual high school student, Emily found her niche as a Cross Country runner. She was one of the top runners in the state during her freshman year. Some of her feats included an All-County award during XC, All-State award during Winter Track, and in the spring she was the state champion in the 3000 m. During Lipari's Sophomore year she would continue to improve and impress, she went undefeated in cross country in New York State and destroyed a previously held record at Bethpage State Park. She went from being virtually unknown nationally to finishing in 6th place at Footlocker Nationals, the most prestigious High School Cross Country race, with a time of 17:46. With this performance she won her first All-American honors and has became a household name in the world of running.
