Helena Bochořáková-Dittrichová

Helena Bochořáková-Dittrichová (July 31, 1894, Vyškov, Austria-Hungary - 28 March, 1980, Brno, Czechoslovakia was a highly accomplished Czech graphic artist.

Her 1931 book "Childhood" which consists of a story told entirely in woodcut prints is considered an important work in the history of the graphic novel. The book was published in an edition of 300 by the British bookshop and gallery A.Zwemmer, formerly of Charing Cross Road London.
