Catherine Swinnerton (born 12 May 1958) [cite web| url=http://www.olympics.org.uk/athleterecord.aspx?at=3510| title=Catherine Swinnerton - Olympic Record | publisher=British Olympic Association| accessdate=2008-09-12] was an English racing cyclist. Born in Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent, as one of seven children, Swinnerton is part of a cycling family, and founders of Swinnerton Cycles in Cheadle. Her twin brother, Paul was also a racing cyclist.

She competed in the road race at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, where she finished 13th.
