Thorgerd Egilsdottir was an
Iceland ic woman of the tenth century. She was the daughter ofEgil Skallagrimsson and the wife ofOlaf the Peacock . Olaf and Thorgerd had a number of children: the sons Kjartan, Steinthor, Halldor, Helgi, and Hoskuld and the daughters Thurid, Thorbjorg, Thorgerd and Berghora. The ill-fated Kjartan would be his father's favorite.References
