History

Telereal was founded in 2001 as a joint venture between Land Securities and William Pears Group. In 2005 Land Securities sold its stake in the venture to William Pears Group. Telereal's shareholders are the trustees of the Bernard Pears 1967 Settlement (the Pears Trusts Group) and William Pears Family Holdings Limited (WPFH). Operations

In 2001 Telereal agreed a £2.4 billion sale and leaseback / property services deal with BT. Under the deal Telereal purchased 6,700 properties and transferred 350 people from BT.
