Brent Kado is a Chicago based writer, blogger and movie producer who grew up near
Elkhart, Indiana . He attended Ball State University andDePaul University and currently teaches at DePaul. Formerly webzine FlowFeel (2001) and for a brief time Remixing America, Kado's blogging style has also been noted by local media. The first was a novel based on his travels across America entitled "And Yet It Moves" published in 2001. In 2007 Kado began publishing "Blues and the Machine" in Blook form. The book is set to be released as a paperback in late 2008. Kado is also known for his work on film and photography. "Off The Cuff", a mockumentary written, produced and directed by Kado (as well as his wife actress Jessica Hardy) is slated for a fall 2008 release. Kado has had photo exhibits at The Orphange, The Galaxie and other Chicago venues. His photos are a combination of urban objects, natural landscapes and musicians.He also has a radio show on WLUW 88.7 FM in Chicago.
