The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts will be held from of 24th June to the 28th June 2009.
Ticket Sales
Tickets can now be bought or reserved for the 2009 festival.If the ticket is reserved then the full balance will have to be paid by Sunday 1st February.
Any unsold tickets or reserved tickets which have not been paid for will be sold again in April. Tickets will cost £175 plus a £5 booking fee. [http://www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals/glastonbury/2009/]

In September 2008, Emily Eavis confirmed that Franz Ferdinand and The Ting Tings would be performing at the festival in 2009, following the two bands playing at a party for volunteers from the 2008 festival on Pilton Farm.

In the same interview, mentioned above, Eavis confirmed that the headliners for 2009 had been booked and they weren't Coldplay, U2 or The Rolling Stones.
