1991 Rome summit

The 1991 Rome summit was the 12th NATO summit and was held in Rome, Italy on November 7 and November 8, 1991. A new strategic concept [citeweb|url=http://www.nato.int/docu/comm/49-95/c911107a.htm|title=The Alliance's New Strategic Concept] was published on the first day, and the Rome Declaration on Peace and Cooperation [citeweb|url=http://www.nato.int/docu/comm/49-95/c911108a.htm|title=Rome Declaration on Peace and Cooperation] was issued on the second.
