Sugira

Sugira formarly known as Kunwarpur was situated in the north of its present location. Maharaja Arjun Singh placed it to its present location. he was a great warrior and his palace has never seen the blood shedding around the palace. According to the folklore the palace of Maharaja arjun Singh is guarded by 36 Gods (in the form of Snakes).Presently a primary school for girls and boys is being run by UP government.

Sugira is situated between Kulpahar and Rath on the national highway 76 at a distance of 4 km fom Kulpahar towards Jhansi. Sugira was counted as a model village before 1980.
