Elizabeth was born in 1415. She was the only daughter and heiress of Richard Beauchamp, Baron Abergavenny and 1st Earl of Worcester, by Isabel, daughter of Thomas le Despencer, Earl of Gloucester by Constance of York, grand-daughter of Edward III.
She inherited her father's estates upon his death (1421/2). She became the first wife of Edward Neville (d.1476). He was a younger son of Ralph de Neville, 1st Earl of Westmoreland and Joan Beaufort, Countess of Westmoreland, daughter of John of Gaunt and Katherine Swynford.
Elizabeth and Edward had several children including George Neville (1440?-1492), 4th Baron Abergavenny.
