ARICNS =HD 205739 is a yellow-white dwarf (
spectrum F7 V). It is about 90 parsecs away from the Sun.A
Jupiter -like planet has recently been detected in a Mercury-like eccentric orbit around this star. Its discoverer speculates, "The maximum surface temperature of this planet is expected to be of the order of 400K, and the amplitude of its surface temperature change will only be of about 100K along the entire orbit".There is a trend in the results which may point to an additional companion further from its star.
