Alberto Coto García (born on May 20 1970, in Lada, Langreo, Asturias) is a mental calculator and currently is the world champion in mental calculation.

His profession is financial adviser and accountant. He has demonstrated his skills and he has appeared on some TV shows and news. In recent years he has carried out some demonstrations and conferences.

Beginnings

When he was six years old he demonstrated calculations skills counting the final score while playing cards. Over the years, due to his interest on calculation and brain's strengthening, he was developing his capacity becoming the fastest human calculator in the world certificated by some Guinness Records and his titles of World Champion.

His books reached best seller in Spain and in Latin America.

Add 100 digits in 19.23 seconds (Guinness record)

Multiply two eight digits numbers in 56.5 seconds (Guinness record)

10 adds of 10 numbers with 10 digits in 4 minutes 26 seconds.

10 multiplications of 2 numbers with 8 digits in 8 minutes 25 seconds.

These records mean a speed calculation over 5 operations per second.
