Carla Borghetti

Carla Borghetti is a singer, born 18 September 1971 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.She is considered one of the most important Tango singers in Mexico. She sings tango since 1998, when she creates Vuelta de Rocha Tango. With this group she wins the Second Place in Tango category in the 1º Bienal, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas, Universidad de Buenos Aires.Since 2003 she lives in México City, performing in many important places like Lunario del Auditorio Nacional and festivals like [FIME 2007 and colaborating in the music for theater pieces like Cada Quién su Frida of Ofelia Medina, Pacamambo and Willy Protágoras encerrado en el baño, both directed by Hugo Arrevillaga. Her proyect, La Compañía del Tango Nómada, is a fussion of tango with other forms of popular music. Also She is part of the mexican company Latin Tango.Her work in traditional tango is compilated in the CD Bagaje.
