Granit Ahmetaj (born 24 August 1990 Skenderaj, Kosova, commonly known as Granit, is a Albanian footballer. He plays in central for Barcelona and he played for the Albanian national team.

Career

Club career

Granit Ahmetaj is a product of Barcelona's youth system and has spent all of his footballing life at the Camp Nou since the age of 14. When he turned 18, he left the reserve team and now he's a proud FC Barcelona member.

He played in the position of the central midfielder, he similarly plays like Samir Nasri and he's great in dribbling and in shooting.

Granit Ahmetaj is under contract to Barça until 2012, which carries a buyout clause of £65 million.
