Ahmad Zakii Anwar is a well-known famous Malaysian artist.

Background

( Born in 1995) He was born in the state if Johor to Tan Sri Anwar Malik, Born in the state of Johor, Ahmad's father is Tan Sri Haji Anwar Malik, who was credited as the man who gave the United Malays National Organisation or UMNO its name – initially United Malays Organization.This was at a meeting in Batu Pahat when seven Umno founders from Johor Baru met Datuk Onn Jaafar to call for a unification of all the disparate Malay nationalist groups at the time. He later became Onn’s private secretary when Onn became Johor’s Mentri Besar. His mother is Hajjah Saodah bte Abdullah, a housewife.

Family

Zakii has two elder sisters, Zainah Anwar, prominent Malaysian non-governmental organisation leader and activist. She was the head of Sisters in Islam for over two decades before deciding to step down to give way to young blood to continue the fight for Muslim women's rights and Zainal Anwar Her elder sister is Datuk Zarinah Anwar, the chairman of the Malaysian Securities Commission. In 1997, his father passed away two weeks before his 100th birthday. It was a great loss. The next year, the passing of his mother, Hajjah Saodah bte Abdullah had happened. He married a Johorian women from Pontian named Misriati bte Robani in 1993. In 1994, he had his first son, Mohamad Syakir Idraqie bin Ahmad Zakii. His son also have the love for art. In 1996, his second son was born. His name is Mohamad Syahir bin Ahmad Zakii. In 2007, he had a daughter named Serina Ahmad Zakii.
