Alan Best (sculptor)

Alan Best (1910-2001) was a Canadian sculptor and natural historian. He trained at the Académie Julian in Paris, designed for Josiah Wedgwood & Sons and was assistant to British sculptor Eric Kennington. He is the uncle of Canadian filmmaker Alan Best.
