Ryan Shotton (born 30 September 1988 in Fenton) is an English footballer, who plays as a defender for League One club Tranmere Rovers, on loan from Stoke City.

Shotton made his debut for Stoke City, coming on as a substitute in the 89th minute, away to Cheltenham Town, in the 3–2 win in the League Cup on 26 August 2008.cite news
